Tinubu’s Radio Continental Changes Name, Content.

There were widespread online rumour on Wednesday that NBC shut down the radio station owned by APC chieftain, Senator Bola Tinubu. This rumour was carried on Whatsapp messaging  platform and within minutes it went viral.

WAILERSNG.com made effort to reach the station for confirmation but to no avail, the information went viral due to what is happening to former vice president Atikuwhose Intel’s contract was terminated by the Buhari’s government, Atiku, according to public opinion is being persecuted by Buhari’s men because of his intention to run for the president.

In the case of Tinubu, according to public perception, he has not been on the good book of Buhari, this judgement may be based on how the political atmosphere in the country has been since over two years ago.

According to Oduavoice.com, the Radio Continental has not been shut down but going through a phase of rebranding as stated in the report below.

Indications have emerged that the Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu owned Lagos bases Radio Continental may experience a complete rebirth in a matter of days.

Oodua Voice reliably gathered that the radio station would on Friday be re named to MAX FM or Max Radio.

According to our source, the change will also reflect in the station’s content as it will henceforth become primarily, a music station.

To this end, the station will drop all its talk programs for music and news.

The changes, according to investigation ,came about as a result of the management ‘s belief that music draws traffic to a radio station more.

It was also gathered that the move is one of the many being taken to prepare Tinubu’s media outfits for the imminent political  struggle the  founder may be involved in , in the race towards 2019.

  1. of course Nigerian unity is open to negotiations.what you have now as Nigeria came about by tough negotiations.Sir Ahmadu Belli never wanted the north to be part of the new nation called nigeria. it was out of serious negotiations and persuasion that he agreed.Now the military have made everything about Nigeria to be like Hausa empire. These things must changed.besides Nigeria was amalgamated for a period of 100 years which expired in 2014 and those benefiting from the current mess, swept that fact under the carpet and pretend as if it is nothing. Nigeria has expired and if the amalgamated nationalities want to continue, this must be discussed and negotiated.
