IBB’s Public Memo To Nigerians Over Buhari Reelection Bid Remains Valid,  Says Rebuttal Is Fake -TheWailersNG

The Former Head of State General Ibrahim Babangida has penned a note to Nigerians following the outcry of Nigerians that Buhari should not return in 2019, and that should he refuse to heed warning, that he should be massively be voted against, WailersNG.com learnt.
IBB’s letter is coming barely a week to the OBJ’s letter stating the same thing. The generals have opined that Buhari can no longer carry or fit in to the enormous task of leading the country, saying that the country needs a more vibrant and young leader to pilot her affairs to a new and prosperous Nigeria.
In a swift reaction, another letter was released claiming that the letter was not from the former head of state, General Ibrahim Babangida, however a top ranking public analyst Mr Adekoya said:
“I have just spoken with Kassim Afegbua, the Chief Press Secretary of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and he said the denial going out is not from the General but from his son who is sympathetic to Buhari’s Presidency”.
IBB’s memo to Buhari stands.
Another blunder committed by the writer of the IBB’s supposed rebuttal was exposed by Mr Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ekiti State on Public communications and new media, Lere noted that he woke up to see the FAKE rebuttal. These Buhari’s men are not intelligent at all. Using GCON for IBB instead of GCFR.
IBB never received GCON,  he received CFR and GCFR.

My attention has been drawn to a report making rounds especially online in which I was quoted as advising Nigerians not to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the coming 2019 election.
Not only is the said statement untrue, it is in its entirety, an inaccurate representation  of my view of the state of our dear Nation.
As a former President and an elder statesman, I have existing communication channels through which I reach out to President Muhammadu Buhari on topical issues of national importance, should there be the need so to do.
The media,  both online or mainstream and indeed the unsuspecting public are advised to disregard such false reports.
Thank you and God Bless you all.
