The embattled Emir of Kano may be facing another hurdle in the next few days if the information at our disposal is correct.

There are indications that the current governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Godwin Emefieli may be facing serious pressure from some interests to probe the tenure of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the former governor of CBN.

Kano State Government recently splited the power and control of Emir of Kano with the creation of additional four emirates with State legislative backings.

The revered throne has been brought to its kneels with this action, Emir of Kano who previously in control of 44 local government is now left to face 10 LGs under the new emirate arrangements, he will have to report to the local government chairmen in his areas of coverage according to the constitution of Nigeria.

The actions has been greeted with various reactions, some section of the country are of the opinion that Emir Sanusi is facing law of Karma, owing to how he connived with the then oppositions to embarrass former President Goodluck Jonathan by dishing out figures of missing funds without evidence through his deliberately leaked memo to the media.

Among those who have reacted so far includes, former SA to President Goodluck Jonathan, Remo Omokri, Fani Kayode, Prince Adelaja Adeoye and others.
Former MD of Oceanic Bank, Mrs Cecilia Ibru also reacted that Sanusi was a vindictive person who was against her thinking that she wanted to take over his job at CBN, he lied and rope our bank with various allegations which led to the collapse of the bank, same he did to other CEO, Ibru noted.

Like the popular saying that “he who must come to equity must come with a clean hand”, some vested interest wants to know how Sanusi reign as the CBN governor went down, they are asking the current governor to probe him and make the findings public, it may be embarrassing at the end of the day if the public are fed with various infractions and atrocities he committed when he was the governor of CBN.
